Following is the general weather report issued by the Metcorlogical Office, Wellington, for the 24 hours ending 3 p.m. today: — Continuing changeable and showery between Kaikoura and East Cape, with some further hail and snow. Scattered Showers also in North Auckland and Taranaki. Weather improving in the south and mostly fair to fine in western districts. Temperatures cold with some sharp frosts.
