CANADIAN PORT FINANCE. The annual report of Hie Canadian National Harbours Board shows, a further decrease in expenditure together with an increase in revenue. Operating expenses have been cut by 912.00 dollars in the past three years. Since 1935. when control of ports by local bodies was superseded by Hie present I'orni of management, there has been a net inini-.ivenient. In the operating position ot Canadian ports of about 2,200,000 dollars. This is partly due to increased revenue arising out. of litglier port, charges and an increased volume of tralllc.
