New Zealand ordinaries were available at 40/3, and Commercial of Australia at 16/10. Industrials were quiet and steady. Australian Consolidated Industries finned to 41/3, sellers asking 43/6. €>thers showed little change. There was a complete lack of buying support for mining shares.
