Mr. Mason, by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce.
A reply by tlie Minister has ju.< been received to the effect that the des|lrability of having New Zealand produces admitted into French possessions oil the most favourable basis j>ossible is recognized and that question will rttt’eive consideration in connexion with trade negotiations between New Zealand and France. ;
