COASTAL CAMPAIGN
Terrific Bombardment HONG KONG, July 28. Residents of Hong Kong heard a terrific naval bombardment which preceded the landing of Japanese forces on the farther side of the Pearl River delta, 60 miles distant, in a new effort to invade the Chungshan district. Marines landed and penetrated to 'Fhiyungshan and Wangchiawai and are approaching Sbekki. The anti-British campaign is being intensified in Peking, and the city is Hooded with posters.
