“Lofty” Blomfield, the New Zealand wrestling champion, will be in action in the Town Hall, Wellington, again next Monday night, and the strong following which 'Blomfield invariably commands should be larger than ever on this occasion, because of the Importance of the contest in which he will be engaged. Blomfield will be opposed by Frank horster, South African champion, who Will be having his first bout in New Zealand. In view of the highly complimentary reports that have been received about Forster's wrestling, it will be particularly interesting to see. how he shapes, an® there is good reason to expect something out of the ordinary. Forster has followed Earl McCready to New Zealand in order to have a tilt at. McCready's Empire title, and he is also anxious to account for Blomfield. Before he can expect a bout with McCready it will be necessary for him to beat Blomfield, and consequently he will have every reason to give of his best. The South African, who was a prominent Rugby forward in Johannesburg before he took up wrestling, is about the same age as Blomfield, and also about the same size, being_6ft. 2Jin. in height and heavier than 17st._ He is a fast and aggressive wrestler with a complete assortment of holds, possessing exceptional ability with forearm smashes, and a colourful ring personality.
