Two Men Jailed

John Joseph Keane, who declared that he was a soldier in the Irish Republican Army and refused to plead, was sentenced to 10 years’ penal servitude for possessing explosives. Joseph Maloiie, who also refused to plead, was sentenced to live years’ penal servitude for causing a tear gas bomb explosion in the Victoria Cinema.
