MAN KILLED IN GRAVEL PIT

TAUMARUNUI, June 30.
Paerangi James Topine, single, aged 24, was killed in a gravel pit this morning in Turangi. He was engaged sljpvelling. metal into a motor-truck when it slipped back and crushed him against a bank. He wns only on the job two days.
