FIRE IN AIRCRAFTCARRIER
LONDON, April 16. It is revealed that nine aeroplanes were destroyed on March 25 by lire in Hie hangars in 11.M.5. Ark Royal while the aircraft carrier was returning to Portsmouth from Gibraltar after the spring manoeuvres. A court of inquiry was held but the result was not disclosed.
