Wellington Business Dull MARKET UNCHANGED Business was very dull on the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday aud a small turnover was recorded. Government stocks were quietly steady, two small parcels being sold at late rates. Banks were irregular on a slack demand. New Zealands eased to 38/3 ami the D mortgage issue sold unchanged at 26/6. E.S. and A.’s firmed 9d. to £5/3/3, National of Australasia £lO paid firmed 3/- to £l3/8/- and the £5 paid were wanted at £6/5/-. Insurance shares were unchanged. Union Steam pref, were unsupported at 24/3. as were P. and O. deferred at 25/-. Other sections of the market were dull, with scarcely any changes iu quotations.
