New Flag Hoisted In Wellington A new road safety pennant, pre seated to the city by the deputy-mayor, Mr. M. M. F. Lttckie, was hoisted at the Town Hall, Wellington, yesterday, 'file new pennant replaces the one hauled down on February 10, when a motor fatality occurred, ami by means of two black crosses indicates that there have been two motor fatalities in Wellington city and suburbs since De eember 5 Though it had been decided in any case to strike the flag on February 11, the old one lias been replaced on the suggestion of the Minister of Trans port. Mt. Semple. Hint all cities should lly road pennants during 1030 to see which could achieve the longest period free from fatalities.
