FIRE CALLS YESTERDAY
Rubbish Alight In City Building A --all l<> Hannah's Buildings. Laiublvn Quay, Wellington, where rubbish had caught alight, was answered by tlie central lire brigade nt 5.3 S p.m. yesterday. The lire was easily extinguished with buckets of water.. Slight, damage was done to a motorcar which caught fire ou Box Dill, Khandulluh. The flames were put out by tlie brigade, which received the call nt 10.44 ti. m Four gorse tires were extinguished during the day. at 10. IS a.m. near the Kelhtirn bowling green, nt 10.5 a ii.m. in Cecil Road. Wndestown, at 7.10 p.m. in Rurou Road. Kelbnrn. and at 8.27 p.m. in Bluckbridge Read, Wadestown.
