REFUGEE TALKS TO CONTINUE
Assurances In Berlin
(British Official Wireless.)
RUGBY, January 23,
The chairman of the International Refugee Committee, Mr. G. Rublee, who, before leaving Berlin is understood to have received assurances that the progress of his negotiations with the German Government would not have been affected by Dr. Schacht's removal from the presidency of the Reichsbank, gave a meeting of the vicechairman’s refugee coifamittee, which was presided over by Earl Winterton in Paris today, an account of his recent conversations.
It may be found desirable, in view of the. further talks for which Mr. Rublee is returning to Berlin, to postpone the meeting of the full intergovernmental committee, which had been provisionally fixed for Thursday.
