Canterbury And Wellington Teams SATURDAY’S MEETING The pick of the amateur track and field athletes of Canterbury and Wellington will be seen in action on the Basin Reserve, Wellington, next Saturday afternoon, when the annual contest between teams representing the two provinces will be held.
The selectors for the Wellington Amateur Athletic Centre, Mr. A. C. Kitto (president of the centre), and Rev. Father T. Cleary, have chosen the following team to represent 11 elliiigtou. Mr. Kitto said yesterday that the Wellington team was the strongest which could be, selected on present form. A few might be disappointed because they bad not been included but if they continued to improve their turn would come. The Canterbury Team.
