Visitors to Wellington Lady Wigram,' Christchurch, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at. the Midland Hotel. Mrs. H. N. Wilson is a Palmerston North visitor to Wellington. Mrs. P. F. .O’Connor, Palmerston North, and her daughter, Miss Kitty O’Connor, and son Mr. B. M. O’Connor are visiting Wellington. Miss H. Comrie who has been nurse inspector for the Wellington-Haw ke s Bay Health District, stationed in Palmerston North, has arrived to take up a similar position in Wellington.

Mrs. A. S. Richards, Mount Albert, Auckland, is visiting Wellington.

On holiday

Sir James and Lady Parr, who have been visiting Rotorua, are now staying at the Station Hotel, Auckland. Commodore and Mrs. H. E. Horan and Miss Sheila Horan will leave Wellington at the weekend for a holiday visit to Rotorua.

Mrs. A. de B. Brandon, Hobs’ou Street, Wellington, will leave for a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Birch, Dannevirke, and will later stay with Mrs. Herrick, Hawke’s Bay.

Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Latham, Wanganui, who have been visiting relatives in Canterbury and Dunedin, have left for Blenheim, where they will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Teschemaker, Avondale. They will' later visit Hawke’s Bay, where they will be the guests of Mrs. J. Ormond, Wallingford, for the Herrick—Ormond wedding. The Bev. and Mrs. T. R. Richards, Wellington, are visiting Hastings, where they are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Richards. Mr. Richards will officiate at the Richards—Gloyn wedding.

Miss L. Fleck, Wellington, is a visitor to Auckland.

Mrs. S. C. Gillies, Wellington, and Mr. Ronald Gilles left for the south last night to attend the wedding of Miss R. Foden-Jones to Mr. Alex. Grigor, which will take place in Christchurch today.

Mr. ana Mrs. Thomas B. Suteh, Vogeltown, Wellington, are spending a holiday touring the North Island. Miss Mollie .Scott, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. H. L. Autridge, New Plymouth. Miss Byers, Wellington, has left on an extended tour of the North Island. She will go to Napier, Waikaremoana, and on through the Urewera forest to Rotorua.

Mrs. Guy Dart, Mrs. R. J. Whitlock, and Mrs. B. D. Stevens, three visitors to New Zealand from Chicago, left Wellington last night for a tour of the South Island.

Miss Marjorie Tocker, "The Priory,” Featherston, is visiting Napier. Among the visitors to Palmerston North for the Dominion croquet tournament are Mr. A. G. F. Ross, New Zealand referee, Mrs. Palmer, Christchurch, Mrs. Mouat, Waimarie, Mrs. Bock, Hutt, Mrs. 'Walker, Woburn and Mrs. D. C. Henderson, Wellington. Mrs. R. A. Rouse, Lansdowne, is staying at Kent House, Colombo Road, Masterton.

Returned Home Miss Frances Bullock, New Plymouth, has returned home from a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. T. Watts. The Delta, Blenheim, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. J. H. Prater, Kemuera, Auckland, has returned from a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. W. T. Yeatman and Miss Marjorie Yeatman, Onehunga, who have been visiting Wellington, have returned home. Mrs. Percy Bear, who has been spending a holiday with her daughter, Mrs. A. Yule, Oriental Parade, AVeilington, has returned to Napier, accompanied by her grandson, Harvey Emerson.
