GERMAN RIGHTS WON WITHOUT WAR
Hitler’s Tribute To Munich Agreement
BERLIN, January 12.
Herr Hitler, in acknowledging New Year greetings from the Papal Nuncio, who specially referred to the Munich Agreement, declared:— “I also was strongly impressed by the Munich Agreement. Germany last year brought into effect her absolute rights without war, to which the wise judgment of the Powers at .Munich contributed.
“I think that that event justifies the hope that in the future the common friendship among European statesmen may preserve a peace throughout Europe which will give the fullest justice to the legitimate interests of the nations.”
