GERMANY WARNS HOLLAND
Shots Fired At Consulate
BERLIN, January 12.
The German Minister in the Hague has protested against the firing of shots at the German Consulate at Amsterdam, for which the Dutch Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. I’atijn, Iras expressed regret. A stern warning that Holland is prejudicing her neutrality and relations with Germany is issued by the “Diplomatic Correspondence” in regard to the shooting. The newspaper, which is the official organ of the German Foreign Office, adds: “Holland must consider whether her open-heartedness and indulgence for the destructive Jewish influence is still justified when it endangers Germans accredited to Holland.”
