FIND OF FOR BONES
Discovery On Taihape Farm -By Telegraph — Press Association. TAIHAPE, January 13. A quantity of moa bones was discovered by a farmer, .Mr. F. Howie, while he wt.s excavating on his property. They were about ten feet under tlie surface, close to the road, a mile from the homestead, Koeke. Two leg bones were sent to the Wanganui Museum for identification, and Mr. Howie has been advised that they belong to different species. Mr. Howie has now unearthed twenty bones, chiefly leg bones, and more are visible
