Discovery On Taihape Farm -By Telegraph — Press Association. TAIHAPE, January 13. A quantity of moa bones was discovered by a farmer, .Mr. F. Howie, while he wt.s excavating on his property. They were about ten feet under tlie surface, close to the road, a mile from the homestead, Koeke. Two leg bones were sent to the Wanganui Museum for identification, and Mr. Howie has been advised that they belong to different species.
