Late Commercial MARTHA RETURN
Dominion Special Service. AUCKLAND, January 13. The following information has been cabled to the London oflice of the Martha Gold Mining Company (Waihi) Limited: “For the period ended December 31, comprising 24 crushing days, '19,034 tons.of ore were crushed for a result of 6234 fine ounces of gold, and 36,703 fine ounces of silver. This is the final return for the year 1938. “In the No. 3 level the following veins have been intersected: In Lovett south crosscut at 264 ft., Ift. wide of good grade; at 269 ft., Ift. wide assaying 22/6 a ton; at 296 ft.. mixture of quartz and country, lOin. wide of good grade.”
