THE QUIRINAL PALACE IN ROME.—One of Mr. Neville Chamberlain's first acts on arriving at Rome was to sign his name in the visitors' book at the Quirinal, the prerogative of all distinguished visitors. The Quirinal Palace, which also contains official buildings, has been the residence of the King of Italy since 1871.
