With Frank Neil Show Frank Neils spectacular revue which is to be r-taged at the Opera House, Wellington. for a brief season by J C. Williamson Theatre,?, begins with two gala performance., tomorrow afternoon anil evening. The aim of Mr, Frank Neil to procure for his Sydney and Melbourne theatres.the most notable American. English and Continental revue and vaudeville artists has proved entirely successful. Many of these artists have been presented to New Zealand audiences, but hin most important, most expensive and most fortunate engagement has been that of Mr. Mahoney. This comedian h artistry so attracted playgoers in Auckland that his seasons were extended considerably, amt even then the Williamson theatres were taxed to their capacity at every performance. Great interest, centres in the reappearance in Wellington of Mist. Violet Carlson, probably the most delightful and vivacious comedienne yet seen on a New Zealand etage. Mist- Evie Hayes has a good soprano voice which will be heard in many song s-ucccosch and her charming personality helps her in her performances with Mr. Mahoney. Whitey Roberts-, a brilliantly clever comedy dancing juggler ; Jiniae, an amazing magician: Tex. Morton. a most entertaining yodeller; Johnny Bryant, America’s best whistling artist'; Lawrence Brookes, one of New YorW most popular tenor singers; Bob Geraghty., a favourite American entertainer; and other artiste,, including Bruce Carroll, Dorrie Ricketts, and Tim Blackman will be appearing.
