New Series Of Coloured Travel Films

"WORLD WINDOW,” a series of ’ travel films shot with a new technique in the technicolour process, are being released in New Zealand. They are produced by the Count and Countess Keller, who travel with their unit thousands of miles and experience many exciting adventures.

“The .Eternal Fire,” the first of the series, presents a remarkable picture of beautiful Naples nestling peacefully in the shadow of the ever-threatening Vesuvius. Opening with close shots of the cone belching forth smoke and oe easional flame, the film shows the terrifying molten lava, flowing red-hot from the crater, atid boiling sulphur pools. Extensive views of the ruined city of Pompeii are also shown in technicolour. Modern skill has revived much of the artistic beauty of Pompeii Palaces, public buildings, exquisite paintings and stone fountains and statues have been partially restored to give some idea of what this mag niflcent city was like before it was ruined by the eruption of Vesuvius 2000 years ago.
