Beau Brummel May Be Filmed
METRO - GOLDWYN - MAYER announces acquisition of two new properties, “Beau Brummel,” and Mark Twain's “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." The play "Beau Bruiumel,” written by Clyde Fitch, proved one of the outstanding successes in the history of the American theatre. Richard Mansfield starred in the original production and a number of revivals and motion-picture adaptations have followed. “Huckleberry Finn,” classic story of American boyhood, was once made as a silent picture in 1920, and as a talking picture in 1931.
