Small Accident Causes Expensive Delay
A 3/6 sweater caused a delay of two hours and 40 minutes during production of Universal’s “In Society,” during the company’s sojourn at Lake Arrowhead.
The sweater, belonging to Hally Chester, was blown off the end of a boat, and property men were unable to find it. As the wardrobe box did not contain another sweater like it, it was necessary to phone to Universal City and have a duplicate dispatched by special car to the 100-mile distant location. The driver made the run in two hours and 40 minutes.
