Radium Used For Cancer

From “The Dominion,” January 10, 1914. Sir Thomas Barlow (Physician Extraordinary to lI.M. the King) states that time is required to substantiate beyond all possible doubt the remarkable results achieved in the treatment of cancer with radium, but there is nevertheless .no longer- any doubt as to the immediate effect of the treatment. Drs. Bouffart and Jacobs have submitted to the Belgian Society for the Study of Gynaecology the cases of two women whom they claim to have definitely cured of cancer of the womb by means of radium.
