CITY OF LONDON’S GREAT INFLUENCE
LONDON, December 15.
Speaking at a House of Commons luncheon today, Mr. Chamberlain said: “We hear a lot about the alleged weakness of Britain, but it is noticeable that the great strength of Britain is hardly mentioned by those who make these allegations of weakness. The City of London is one of those great influences in the country which carry weight abroad.’’
