Trades Union Council To Talk With Ministers

RUGBY, December 8
The General Council of the Trades Union Congress considered a letter from the Minister of Labour, Mr. Ernest Brown, inviting the council's assistance in defining key occupations, from which persons ovqj a certain age could not be spared, for the purposes of the national service register.
The council decided to accept a suggestion of a discussion on the matter with Mr. Brown and. the Lord. Privy Seal, Sir John Anderson, to clarify the position on several points.
