Cattle Prices Rise At

Feilding Sale

NO STORE SHEEP OFFERED

Dominion Special Service.

FEILDING, December 9.

I’or the first time in the history of the Feilding sale no store sheep came forward today, (lie reason being the continued wet weather. Two pens, apparently store hoggets, were sold with the fat sheep, these being the sole representation in the store class.

Fat sheep were in fairly light supply and held firm at late rates. Hoggets made up the bulk of the entry, the demand being quiet.

Fairjstation cattle met a stronger sale than last week, the continued heavy growth of pastures probably having an influence on the market. Mostly young cattle were penned and met with a fair demaud. 'The fat cattle were of good quality, but prices were not quite up to expectations. Values, however, were above last week's rates.
