STRIKE AT LE HAVRE COLLAPSING
Trade Union Leader Jailed FARIS, December 7. The strike at Le Havre is collapsing rapidly and crews are being signed on for the Normandie and other shi|>s. Industrial workers are returning to work throughout the country, foilowing an undertaking by the Ministry of Labour that it will arbitrate where necessary.
The trade union loader M. Albert Thomas, who was charged with interfering with the liberty of work, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
