Claridge made an opening for Maranui and from an infringement D. Evans threw a penalty goal, the teams’changing over with Lyall Bay leading 2-1. Marantti equalized through J. Haichwell, right wing, but in the dying stages Pelham placed Lyall Bay ahead, the game ending Lyall Bay A 3. Maranui 2. Air. D. Woodfield was referee.
