Arrangements For National Championships Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, December 8. Already arraiigemeuls for the twentieth junior New Zealand lawn tennis championships are under way in Wanganui, and the Wanganui Lawn Tennis Association, which is managing the event, has elected sub-committees. Though the entries for tiie event do not come direct Io the Wanganui association, it. is expected that, if lite normal response is made there will be 80 Io JOO entrants for the junior lilies. 'l’hc tournament will be played on the "Wanganui club's courts on January 18, 19, 20 and 21, and there are seven sections for competition. 'l'he general sub-eonmiittee comprises Messrs. N. B. Barkman, M. L. Lampe, and A. W. J. Peacock, and tjie billeting sub-committee is Messrs. G. 11. Powmtil, D. W. Earle, and D. G. O’Toole. Billeting will be arranged as soon as the requirements of the visiting players are known and already applications for accommodation have been received from as far south as Christchurch and as far north as Auckland. This will be the first time that the junior national championships have been held in Wanganui anil strong local support is expected. In some eases several players trout the saute school are entering and the competition and experience for the local entrants should be valuable.
