Comedian's Daughter In "Four Feathers"

A NEWCOMER to the Alexander Korda roster of stars who will.be built up into international fame with London Film Productions is .lune Duprez, daughter of the famous comedian. Miss Duprez is tinder contract to London Films, and will play the feminine lead in "Four Feathers,” A. E. W. .Mason’s famous story. .Miss Duprez is 20 years old. a vivacious brunette, with hazel eyes. Site took her own screen test to London Films, and it was not until after she had been given the part of Ethne in “Four Feathers” that, her relationship to Fred Duprez Iteeame known.

Miss Duprez has played with the Coventry Repertory Players, but most of the parts, she says, wore old women. She has acted in two small films. She has always wanted to play an ingenue. As her father did not encourage her stage and screen ambitions, telling her that he did n.ot think much of acting as a profession, she bad a screen test made, which she paid for. That is the test she took to Denham. Two other new names of the stars of tomorrow who will result from the London Filins policy are Corinne Luchaire and Mary Morris, now making the girls' reformatory drama, “Prison Without Bars.” Alexander Korda is also making plans to use Vivien Leigh in an important picture.
