ACCIDENTS YESTERDAY

Bricklayer Injured Working on a job in Campbell Street, Karori. yesterday. Mr. S. B. King, a bricklayer, of Rhodes Street, Newtown, injured his right hip through slipping on some timber. The Wellington Free Ambulance took him to hospital. Mrs. L. Christes-on. Manners Street, was taken to hospital with injuries to the right hip and wrist, received through a fall on the step of a shop in Dixon Street. There were two accidents on Hie Wellington wharves yesterday. Mr. J. Meek, of 27 C.hilka Street, was struck by a crate of cheese and taken to hospital with an injured foot. The accident accurred wlion. He was working the CLrojaii Star at Glasgow Wharf. Mr. A. Alfonso, Cuba Street, bad bis right baud struck by a sling of timber when working the Kaimai at the Railway M harf.
