Two Motor-Cyclists Fined
Two motor-cyclists were charged in the Magistrates’ Court, 'Wellington, yesterday with driving in a manner which in the circumstances might have been dangerous to the public, and with exceeding the speed limit of 30 miles an hour in a city street. They were Ronald Charles Hallam and Colin Horace Hedges. Both pleaded guilty and lines of £2 and costs were imposed by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., on each charge. Their driving licences were suspended for three months. Evidence was given that Hallam and Hedges travelled along Manners Street on the night of October 2.> nr speeds which were between -10 and .45 miles an hour. Traffic in the street was described as being heavy irt the time.
