Gold Mining Returns The Molyneux Gold Dredging _ Company’s dredge recommenced operations on November 21, and during the two weeks ended December 3 operated for 221 hours and recovered 31 ounces of gold. Blackwater Mines Limited, has issued the following return for November: — Crushed 4100 tons, yielding 1984 fine ounces of gold from all sources, including clean-up from old battery and treating accumulated concentrates, the value of which, taking gold at 147/- a fine ounce, was £14,582. Working expenses were £7708. leaving a working profit, of £6871. Capital expenditure was £1132 and development £897.

Wellington Woollen Dividend

'l'hc Wellington Woollen Manufacturturing Co., Ltd., has advised the Wellington Stock Exchange that the directors have resolved to pay' tin interim dividend for the half-year Io December 31 at 24 per cent, ou both issues of shares. 'Tim distribution for the hist financial year was 6 per eent. Blackwater Mines Dividend Blackwater Mines, Ltd., yesterday advised the Stock Exchange Association that an interim dividend of sixpence a share in respect of 1938 had been declared; also a final dividend of 3d. a share in respect of 1938 had been declared by Consolidated Goldfields, Ltd.
