Mortgage Losses
Sir, —Your article in Thursday’s “Dominion” on mortgage losses; was timely a:id appropriate; the losses by contributors are serious. In my case 1 paid in all to tbe Winter Show Association £3OO, not expecting any great return, but hoping thus to help forward a worthy city venture.
Those in charge have devoted much time and anxious care to the project, yet owing to adverse circumstances all have suffered a heavy reduction. In my case £l2O went in one sweep. Now it took me a long time to eave £l2O out of my hard-won earnings. I am not groaning, but the loss is serious.—l am, etc., • CONCERNED. Wellington, November 25.
