PETONE R.S.A. DANCE
There was a large attendance at the Petone Returned Soldiers’ Association’s dance at tiite Petone Working Men’s (,'lub. Gaily-hued frilly streamers were strung across the ceiling and scarlet bells provided' another touch of colour. Mr. O. Kibblewhite acted as master-of-ceremonies. The committee was: Mr. D. Maltby, chairman, and Mrs. Maltby, floral diagonalstriped marocain and white organdie : Mr. J. Pointon, secretary, and Mrs. Pointon, pink velvet; Mr. ana Mrs. J. Booth, pink crepe-cle-ehine; Mrs. J. Brennan, black satin and georgette, with a red coinage spray,; Mr. and Mrs. O. Kibblewhite, tomato crepe-de-chine; Mr. and Mrs. C. Casey, floral georgette; Mrs. Holland, mauve silk; Mrs. Price, black and white marocain: Mrs. Hewson, black velvet: Messrs. J. Larkins, D. Silbery, M. C. Hawkins.
