Inaugural Flight

An Air France machine has made an inaugural flight from Hanoi (Tongking) to Hong Kong, completing the remaining link in the direct service between Paris and Hong-Kong. The head of the Turkish Naval Mission, Captain Said Halman, has arrived in London in connection with the advance to be made by Britain to Turkey by way of a loan not exceeding in the aggregate £6,000,000 to enable Turkey to purchase in Britain material necessary for defence. An estate valued at £22,462 was left by Mr. C. F. Warren, Sidney, genera) manager in Australia and New Zealand of the Prudential Assurance Company, whose death occurred on May 31.
