Last Year’s Operations
A net profit of £12,964 for the financial vear ended March 31, 1935, is disclosed in the annual accounts of the Publie Trust Office which were submitted to Parliament by the Minister of Finance, Hon. W. Nash. In the annual report on the operations of the office, the Minister states that new business reported for administration during the year was of a total value of £5,966,359, representing the aggregate value of 21)34 estates and funds, compared with a corresponding total of £5,068,109 for 2770 estates and funds during the preceding year. The total value of estates at the end of the financial year was £60,815,306.
