Improvements To Corner In Brooklyn
Improvements to Till’s Corner. Brooklyn. at an estimated cost of £7lXf were decided upon by the Wellington City Council last night, the work to be carried out as soon as possible. The decision followed upon a recent request by a deputation from the Brooklyn Ratepayers’ Association for something to be done without delay in view of the danger to pedestrians as well as vehicular traffic at the corner.
Cr. W. Appleton said that there had been considerable diseus«ion between the works and tramways committees over this corner, and it had been agreed to proceed with tli.; work immediately.
