- Wellington Business Dull LITTLE CHANGE IN MARKET Little change was seen yesterday in tiie Wellington stock and share market, which remained sluggish. Trading was dull and the recorded turnover very lunitCd There was a rather better demand for Government loans, but quotations showed little variation. Local body and company debentures were unwanted. Bank shares were about steady. Financial and pastoral issues received better attention. Dalgetys were wanted at £7/19/-. Cxoltiebrough, Morts firmed to business at 29/1 and more were wanted at 29/-, sellers asking 3d. higher. Farmers’ Auctioneering, £5 paid, had buyers at So/-, sellers wanting 92/0. The demand for industrials was meagre with little business doing. Wellington Woollen preference were wanteel at £o 5/-, sellers £5/12/6. British Tobaccos and Colonial Sugars were fully firm.
