DEAN OF CANTERBURY TO MARRY AGAIN

Dr. Hewlett Johnson, aged 64. whose first wife was described as the finest-looking woman in Manchester, has become engaged to Miss Mary Edwards, aged 31, an artist who has exhibited at the Royal Academy. The wedding will take place in the autumn. Meanwhile. Miss Edwards, who has long been connected with the Deanery, where she has acted as hostess, is accompanying the Dean to Spain with a food-ship committee which cares for orphaned children at Barcelona.
