Curfew At Tiberias Maintained (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, August 9. A telegram from the High: Commissioner in Palestine, dated to-day, which was received at the Colonial Office states that early last night a Maltese was shot and killed in the Old City, Jerusalem. Yesterday a bomb exploded and later shots were fired on the Jaffa-Tel Aviv boundary. Two Arabs and two Jews were wounded. The curfew imposed yesterday at Tiberias is being maintained. As a result of an encounter east of Nablus yesterday a quantity of arms and ammunition was seized and four wounded bandits were taken prisoners.
