300 BOMBS DROPPED ON KIUKIANG
(Received July 21, 1.10 a.m.) Hong Kong, July 20. Three hundred bombs were dropped by Japanese planes to-day over a wide area at Kiukiang, which is regarded as the keypoint in the Chinese defences on the Yangtse River. At least thirty persons were killed in the city itself.
