Hutt Workshops’ Dance
There were -JOO present at the dance held by the Hutt Valley Workshops <so.cial ■ committee in the hall ou Saturday night. Tire hall was gaily decorated with Streamers and coloured electric-light .shades. The committee comprised Messrs. C. Strang, chairman; F. B. Topham, secretary; F. C. Parr, treasurer; W. Smith, T. Pincock, A. Stratford, N. Cowan, J. J. Nathan, I. Topham. The dancers included Mr. and Mrs. J. Pointon, Sirs. M. Croft, Mr. and Mrs. C. 11. Breach, Mr. and Mrs. C. Andrews, Mr. and Mrs. V. Townsend ; MAN FOUND DEAD OUTSIDE HOME Mr. Arthur Gerald Holmes Laws, a young married man employed as a draughtsman, was found dead on the footpath outside his residence, IS Burnside Avenue, Lower Hutt, yesterday afternoon. He had been working on his car. The cause of death is believed to be heart failure.
