MASS MEETING AT SINGAPORE
Singapore, July 7.
Thousands of Chinese attended a mass meeting to observe the war anniversary to-day. It was quite orderly. Penang is now calm following the rioting and looting as a result of objection to the importation of a consignment of Japanese soya beans.
