EXTENDING AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL RULES

Proposals to introduce Australian Rules of football into New Zealand and America will be discussed by’ the Australian National Football League in November. Victoria is behind the New Zealand venture and a roster of arrangements is already being made in Melbourne for the South. Melbourne and St. Kilda teams to tour New Zealand.
A previous announcement said that the intention was that the visit to New Zealand of lhe South Melbourne and St. Kilda teams was for exhibition purposes and to give lhe teams a change from the usual procedure of going on a trip in Australia.
