Debutantes Modify Dresses
London, July 7.
The "Daily Mall” says that Royal disapproval with the deeolletages at last night’s Court resulted at to-night’s function in seven debutantes wearing scarves which were hurriedly made by dressmakers to drape their necks and shoulders, attached by diamond clasps and posies. The King again held Court alone. The Duke and Duchess of Kent, and the Earl and Countess of Harewood were among tnose present.
The New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, was present.
