Fine, With Light To Moderate Winds. Following is the weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the 24 hours ending at 3 p.m. to-day An extensive anti-cyclone now covers New Zealand and the Tasman Sea. Pressure is also very high over central and eastern Australia. Light to moderate and variable winds; south-easterly predominating in the far north and northerly over the southern half of the South Island. Seas in New Zealand waters slight to moderate. Light to moderate and variable winds in the eastern Tasman Sea, and slight seas. Weather fine almost generally, with morning fogs in many places. Milder • day temperatures.
