RELIGIOUS SERVICES LECTURE ON BIBLE TRUTH (God willing) J O.U.F. HALL, ALLEN STREET, SUNDAY AT 7 P.M. Subject: “NEBUCHADNEZZAR'S IMAGE.” A REMARKABLE REVELATION TO NEBUCHADNEZZAR, KING OF BABYLON, WHEREIN GOD NOT ONLY DISCLOSED THE TREND OF EVENTS IN GENTILE HISTORY FOR 2500 YEARS, BUT REVEALED HIS OWN SOLUTION FOR THE WORLD’S ILLS WHEN "THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES” (now on the point of expiry) ARE FULFILLED." This lecture will be based upon Daniel, chapter 2, and it will be shown — (1) THAT therein it was revealed that four successive Kingdoms would exist —Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome (Dan. 2 :38-4O). (2) THAT "the fourth Kingdom” would "be divided” (verse 41) into ten Kingdoms (modern Europe), and these Kingdoms • would “NOT CLEAVE ONE TO ANOTHER” (verse 43). (3) THAT the days of all these European Kingdoms would be numbered, for the prophecy states that "IN THE DAYS OF THESE KINGS SHALL THE GOD OF HEAVEN SET UP A KINGDOM WHICH SHALL NEVER BE DESTROYED .... IT SHALL BREAK IN PIECES AND CONSU.ME ALL THESE KINGDOMS, AND IT SHALL STAND FOR EVER” (verse 44). (4) THAT all Bible revelation—the Abrahamic Covenant, the Davidian Covenant, the writings of the Pt'o- - the Gospel of Christ (the Gospel of the Kingdom of God), the teaching of the Apostles—centres around this coming mighty universal KINGDOM OF GOD on earth. (See Gen. 12:3, I Chr. 17:1114, Psa. 67:4, Psa. 72, Isa. 2, Isa. 9:6, Isa, 11, Isa. 65:17-25, Jar. 3:17, Jcr. 23:5. Dan. 7:14, Mic. 4:1-4, Hab. 2:14, Hag. 2:7, Zech. 8:20-22, Zech. 14:9.
